Seriously, Blade is a vampire hunter and Morbius is a vampire. Blade should be THE counter.

    Morbius is a Villain. Blade gets Danger Sense with the Ghost Rider synergy.

    Blade gets Danger sense against Dimensional Beings, because it is an ability to detect and fight the supernatural. Morbius is a vampire in name, but not a supernatural being.

    More specifically, Morbius is not a true vampire. He is called a "living vampire" or a "pseudo vampire" but those are just descriptions. He is not a creature created by the original Atlantean curse, and the Montesi formula (the magic spell that can destroy any vampire and can even prevent them from existing at all) has no effect on him.

    Blade needs a buff.

    Kabam missed an opportunity to make the Blade Morbius synergy give blade danger sense against ALL non Villain champs.

    Kind of. The first vampire (as far as I'm aware of canon) was created by ancient Atlantian sorcerers. However, vampirism is both a curse and a self-perpetuating magical disease, which means vampires can be created by magic or they can be created by other vampires. It just so happens the oldest known vampire (in the Marvel 616 universe) was created by Atlantians, but there isn't anything special about Atlantians or Atlantis beyond that.
