New AQ….bad idea

So if “real life” gets busy and you forget/can’t join you’re basically screwed? My mom recently died and I couldn’t participate in anything because I was too busy with family obligations. Under new aq because I COULDNT participate I wouldn’t get rewards. My alliance understood but with the new aq format apparently kabam wouldn’t give a darn. Life happens to everyone but kabam thinks they’re more important than anything else going on in your life.
