Help with Cosmic Gem R3

Didn’t get the gem I hoped for and by most accounts got the worst gem of all classes. Who to take to rank 3? All are R1 right now. My next rank 3 will be with the release of 8.4.

I am leaning Venom but curious what others think. Prestige means nothing to me … far above my level of play.

I had the exact same four options and I did Venom, but mine was unduped. I'm assuming you have a Venom relic to go with it

I have a 4 star venom relic on him … that’s the highest rank cosmic relic I have.

Literally just pulled him today he's so frickin awesome definitely r2ing him with the 7* gem 😁

I gave 7* venom the 1-2 generic from 8.3 with zero hesitation. If I pull cosmic 2-3(🤞)when I do my necro run, again, there will be zero thought. Disclaimer... venom has been top 3 of my fav champions since I started playing this game

I did the exact same thing with my 1-2 gem, and will be doing the same if I pull a cosmic gem when I do my completion run through necropolis as well.

He's a straight killer.

He's one of the champs that has aged like a fine wine, venom relic boosts him and he got some awesome synergies.

I'd prefer holding the gem until I have the resources ready for the second r3 to become vailant (or until I pull a different cosmic that I like more, personally I don't like any of these cosmics, except venom but I have never used him).

Venom, Vox and maybe Odin are the best cosmic options with venom being arguably the best

I'd only say either Terrax or Gorr over Venom because they're dual champs and I do a lot of BGs personally but if you don't care about BGs or about dual champs in general and want a good attacker Venom is definitely the best option.

I r3d my duped surfer. He not only has high prestige buy the extra ra k makes him very good dor bgs and is a duel champ . Alot of people forget that doom isn't really a good counter and he is definitely a champ that takes time to kill although maybe not the hardest. He also has some really good synergies. Imo venom is fun but at this point in the game not really that useful terrax would be my next choice but you could save the rank up until you can do another so you might have more options by then. After all you don't need 1 r3 for valiant you need 2
