What happened to compensation? Remember when we used to get that for our troubles?

If I recall properly, they started giving compensation after the issue was fixed in the last compensations at least, I dont know if they will keep it like this or they just dont give this kind of compensations anymore

The thing is though...the issues weren't fixed. That last comp was more of a "hush" comp just to keep us quiet for the moment

It is unclear what state of the game you are comparing to now.

If you are referring to the time that the game engine was updated by that company and severely impacted the game controls in MCOC, leading to months and months of troubleshooting, attempted fixes, etc., then I disgaree - msot of that stuff was fixed.

Are the game controls perfect? No, but IMO they are not compensation-worthy issues. I am a scrub, and I get thru hard content all the time without the controls impacting the outcome. AW, BGs, Act 8, whatever.

If you are expecting perfection, then you will be forever disappointed. Kabam has acknowledged here that there are challenges with managing the control behavior on so many different devices and that most issues are device-specific. They must manage their own game controls AND how they work on top of the game engine AND how they work on dozens of different mobile devices and operating systems.

I had a bug during the October update that wouldn’t let me log out of my main (if I tried to log out my game would load indefinitely and never get anywhere) and thus I could not access my mini account for the entirety of October.

I submit a ticket after about a week and they told me others had the same issue, they were working on a fix for it, and that we would be compensated.
For the entire month of October, nothing happened. The bug was fixed with the November update but I didn’t have my mini account for a month and never got compensated.

Do I care that much? Not really, I rarely use my alt so it wasn’t a huge deal, but it’s still a failed promise. Apologies for the semi-rant lol, but this thread reminded me of it and I felt like I should give an example.

Big compensation packages only occur if there are game breaking issues, like severe lag and server issues or the input issues of the past. As it is there does not appear to be any big issue plaguing the game currently and if there was there'd be a lot more people complaining on the forums.

I, nor many others, expect perfection, as nothing is perfect. However, Kabam shouldn't go completely silent either, regarding compensation, while knowing many of us have invested time and money into resources we've lost due to continued game errors and issues.

The input issues are still there for sure, and the new AI is passive as All heck, but they are nowhere close to the levels they were when we were getting weekly and biweekly compensation.

If you want that type of compensation, then you want the problems that compensation called for. I don't think people remember how bad it was at times.

The first 2 you mentioned are exactly what my post is about. These problems are costing us wins and resources in every mode. This is why I brought it up. I've been playing for years, and just like many others, have experienced the consistent issues in these areas. Dropped inputs are still happening too. For some reason, a 5 hit combo turns into a 4 hit combo. Instead of throwing that 5th hit, the attacker stops and just stands there, then with no time to recover, takes a combo to the face.

It's still "everyone". One of the main issues is the busted A.I, and is across the game. That complaint has come from MANY including the top players of MCOC. It's what made Kabam pay attention and make an updated, transparent post regarding the A.I issues, and their hope to resolve them.

Just like they gave everybody a 6* Zemo twice after his nerf or whatever the reason was 😂 One came a few months ago from the 24 hr. Paragon crystal. I popped ONE crystal and got a Zemo. RNG was dropping him everywhere. The 2nd one, cyber week lol

I second this, returned after 5 years not playing when my account was still proven or something i forgot. When i became uncollected there was supposed to be a calendar and it was during the 7hr legendary crystal thing (i forgot what month was it). I submit a ticket about the calendar issue because i thought i might miss something big and it was fixed the next month and they said the previous month will be compensated.

Fast forward to december but still nothing happened and now being a TB i dont really care anymore about the compensation since its probably irrelevant for me anyway. But it something to make me realize that i have to be carefull on how "invested" i should be in this game
