What 4* cosmic should I awaken?

Hyperion
Angela
Spider-Man
Captain marvel
Thor

Not really sure if I should rank one of the heroes I have or to wait.

Don't get me wrong, I do think King Groot is good, and I grind 2 rounds of 4* Basic Arena to get him first and then to dup him. I'll also rank him to R3 for arena purpose (I'll rank all my 4* to R3, except keeping 2 at R1 for sandbagging purposes)

While King Groot is actually quite good (don't under-estimate him), however based on many experts' feedback, it maybe better to invest in a 5* King Groot, as the damage output from a 4* King Groot means you are going to have a very long fight vs high health champs (there are better options vs a 4* King Groot)

Since you alreeady have those you listed dupped, I would say, Wait for other cosmics, e.g.
1) Medusa
2) Hela
3) Ms Marvel
