I was thinking of special locking him twice which should give him 60 planetary then build to sp1 first then stun lock would that work? i might be overlooking something

I believe it could work. There are a couple things to consider:
1. Can you keep him stun locked? I believe so. You would only need to trigger the special lock on him once to get the 6 buffs. He gains 3 physical and 3 energy resist with each proc so after one special lock he’s at 60 mass
2. Following on to 1, will the special lock affect you? It’s 4 seconds long. At max sig ronan adds 0.65 seconds to his stun per buff. Add on the extended stun mastery for 0.5 extra seconds and you have 7.2 seconds of stun per SP1. You’ll have to time your specials to make sure you aren’t special locked and ending a combo as the stun expires.
3. You can get galan to gain more buffs as the fight goes on without going into the harvest. Each time you knock him down with the SP1 he’ll lose 30 planetary mass. So if you let the special lock inflict on him when he’s below 40 mass, you can increase his buffs and get more attack and more stun duration
4. Make sure he doesn’t get to 100 mass. Since the special lock will trigger on you while you’re close to him, it should be easy to manage not pushing him to 100 mass

TL;DR seems very doable

I actually thought about doing it. Let him hit you a few times at the start to gain a few buffs, use the node to lock him once or twice, then you'll get >10 buffs that will keep the stun going on forever. It's possible, but dedicating one slot just for him... hm....

Yeah but it will be a long fight . But should be better than Red Skull I guess since he won't be unstoppable at the end of the charges. And with a bit of playing around it might even be possible to get him up all the way to 40 buffs
