Since revives are getting nerfed, how about revive arena?

We have a daily event that gives us a revive every day on hard difficulty. - apothecary

Thats 7 revives in a week.

We have daily solo events that gives us 25 units + a lvl 2 revive every day.

That is 7 revives in a week.

How about an revive arena. It can run for 6 - 7 days with a 24 hour break before the next one.

It can have 5 milestones with 1 lvl 1 and 2 revive in each milestone. This would give 5 of each lvl 1 and lvl 2 making it 10 revives a week.

Combine this with the others and we can get in 30 days :

30 revives from solo event + 750 units
30 revives from apothecary
40 revives from the new arena im suggesting.(we'll work on 4 cycles)

This gives a total of 100 revives + 750 units which is 18.75 extra revives in a span of 30 days.

We also get some in the calendar. But in my opinion I think this would be fair no? We can currently only get 60 revives a month where this extra 40 can help a lot. Also maybe increase the cap to 30 each and the potions to like 50 each.

You don't have to make the arena points fast but you can allow 1 - 7* champs and each milestone at 1m intervals. This will then not make it seem like its "free" but we still work for it and we got 7 days to reach 5m.

... Why would they take their time to nerf revives and then give you a way to farm revives?...

The point would be to increase the fixed amount of revives we can get atm. Kabam’s main issue with revive farming is that there was no ceiling to how many you could farm. This would increase the ceiling we already have and make it more reasonable.

There is a ceiling, its energy cost, they should nerf energy not revive spawns.

You can't take something so huge and give nothing in return.

I like this idea but Kabam is trying to do the opposite so I don't see them doing this. I would be happy if the storage limit was double. This could potentially create more revives total without doing extra work.

They can and they will, apothecary is the big example, seems like a compromise but its not even a scratch.
I blame this on the extreme hardcore F2P that farm units for special deals and events, and farm revives for 20 hours a day; yeah disagree all you want on this statement; but its the sad true they don't contribute anything and benefit from everything.

They already did nerf energy drops in 5.3.6 which was basically the only place to farm refills. But nerfing energy even further would just hurt other parts of the game such as exploring eq etc.

This game is made for the f2p just as much as the spenders. There is no obligation that you NEED to spend if you want to play this game. If that was the case it’d cost money just to download.

Who said NEED TO SPEND? They happen to be the most demanding ones, while saving every unit for CM and 4th unit deals. At least stop being so demanding since they don't contribute at all.

Maybe I misunderstood it, but it seemed like you were blaming the f2p for grinding out resources with time instead of spending for them. Even if you’re only saying that they’re the most demanding ones, that’s still a broad generalization. And even if that is the case, revive farming hurts them the most, so it makes sense why they would complain.

Its really not that broad, they save every unit possible for special deals every 6 months and complain about revives, cost of BG matches and so on... The game is free to enjoy not free to succeed.

I dont think you get the point of the nerf. They dont want revives that can be earned. They stopped revives getting farmed twice and on top stopped people getting revives in EQ. Clearly the point is to limit the supply to force unit spending. They are not interested in finding new ways to obtain revives.

they aren’t limiting revives to encourage spending, they’re limiting revives to encourage doing content that you’re prepared for. they don’t intend for players to spend 100+ revives on a single quest. if you need to farm 200 revives for a single necro path then you likely aren’t the intended player for necropolis

I think @GalactikDonut and @Longshot_33 are both right on this one. Kabam wants to limit any/all progression levels from advancing beyond their skill & roster, BUT if a summoner is bound and determined to progress to [insert progression level here], than they have to go through a pay-wall to get there.

Nerfing energy would affect several other areas of the game, with the most important being that it would kill BGs participation.
What a genius proposal there 🤯

If this means getting rid of the units in exchange for the revives then id rather decline and have the revives be outside of Arena.

Just make it a separate quest like apothecary that isnt a walk in the park/cant be autofight like 6 stars, and can be done just once a day.

Why go through the torture of promoting a slog fest content like Arena that would require hours of grinding? Just make it a separate quest

Arena is even more unappealing than Incursions

Yeah god forbid someone has to spend units actually playing the game instead of hoarding for 6 months to buy a 7* crystal.. I'm pretty sure that's how they designed the game.
See the game and its economy is not the problem, wanting the cake and eating it is ok, problem is when people want the cake, the pie, the cookies and ice cream.
