Aegon AND Kate for Necropolis bottom three paths?

I have been using Aegon and Shuri for left paths, but for the bottom 3 paths, it seems like Shuri is less effective. Haven't used Kate since she is still 6R4, and I don't like having to hope the defender doesn't attack me while I am trying to switch arrows to the one I want.

I know Kate can replace Aegon pretty much entirely, but I'd still like to continue having Aegon for nuking the boss. Without Aegon, Phase 2 and 3 of Nameless GM would be worse to deal with.

Do Aegon and Kate overlap too much on the path? Would I be better suited not bringing Kate and using other specific defender counters? Or do I bring Kate and use her for most of the defenders and just ramp Aegon to 300 combo for the boss?

The only fight I hear that you'll want to bring a counter for is Diablo if you're using Ægon. The dude is the literal embodiment of "just herc it" in Necropolis.

Also protip for kate: stun the enemy with your riposte and then switch your arrows before hitting them.

Also another protip: against spidey supreme, don't hit him with Ægon, just hit his block because your combo will be at 999 and you won't be unblockable. You should kill him fairly easily that way from what I've been told.

I haven’t done the right side yet either but about your concerns for phase 3 of the grandmaster. I recommended using Juggs or another reverse control immune champ for Phase 3.The degen won’t kill him, just brings him to low Hp so avoid blocking as much as you can. It’s much easier to fight at low Hp than dealing with reverse controls. Odds are you already brought one on your team for phase 4.

Good tip on using Kate's riposte to switch arrows. I will try and practice with her more before my next attempt.

My reverse control immune champ is Wiccan. Not that great for dishing out damage, unlike Juggernaut. So for me at least, still seems like spending 3-4 revives with Aegon to get through Phase 3 is better than spending a long time within Phase 3 with Wiccan at low health. Plus, I invariably screw up the prompts, so at least with Aegon I take off a decent chunk of health before getting KO'd by the SP3.
