Units hacked

These pictures are just few days diffrent. I was hacked and the guy used all my units on some crystal. So got damn anyoing, I was planing to do necro and much units on banquet crystals. To get all those units took me 3-4 months at least, wow. Hope none off u guys come across this

That sucks if that did truly happen. My advice would be to submit a ticket and hope kabam can resolve it.

Why would someone hack your account just to spend your units? I don’t get what the hacker gets out of doing something like that?

I am not sure really if I call it hacking in the sense that Seatin made it fairly easy to obtain the information for the account vs just a straight up "hack" in how OP is describing it.

Well it shouldn’t had happened in the first place regardless how your obtaining the information so yes is not really hacking but hijacked.

Merc used it units to do the content you paid for. Consider yourself lucky they didn't use a mod and your account isn't banned.... yet.

The issue with Seatins mini account is there are many criteria you have to answer to support for them to make sure you're the account owner. These things include, date created, and first purchase date along with a few other things. All of this was public knowledge because Seatin streamed all of these things. So someone who just documented all the answers were able to pass the support test and get the email for the account changed to their email. It was later fixed and the account was resecured.

That situation is a lot different for OP than for Seatin since the email and password of their account wasn't changed, or else they wouldn't have access to it. The only way for someone to "hack" into their account would be they needed to know the login information for them (whether Google play, Apple, or Kabam ID), they would need to know this person plays MCOC, and they'd need to know enough about the the game to waste all their units. The odds of all those things happening are extremely low unless OP shared their account details with someone.

The real question is why would someone waste their valuable time to hack into someone's account and waste their units. That would need some insanely malicious motive, but the hacker wouldn't gain anything from it. More Realistically if someone was doing that, they'd go after more personal information than troll someone in a game.

Walk me through how it would be possible for them to "hack" you. How would this person know you played MCOC? How would they have gotten your email that's attached to your account? How would they have gotten the password for the account? How would they know what to spend units on?

There's just so much that doesn't make sense. Pardon my skepticism here because we just had someone claim a hacker hacked into their account and made a run on Necropolis and got their account banned.

Last time something like this happened to me I had forgotten to lock my ipad and my nephew spent a few thousand units I was saving on crystals.

Do you have kids? Or siblings if you yourself are a kid? More than hacked, they may have just used your phone/tablet to play the game and just spent units on crystals.

Barring the Seatin exception and assuming you’re not an MCOC streamer, there are three distinct possibilities:

1. You shared your login information with someone you are absolutely certain would never ever do such a thing because you are an expert judge of character.

2. You left your devices unlocked, and squirrels hopped into your phone and randomly spent units. Or it was a friend or family member.

3. Someone managed to gain control of your game account all by themselves, logged into it, spent all your units, logged out, and just let you have it back.

If it was the first one, it’s your fault and you’re not getting the units back. If it is the second one it is still your fault but there’s a small chance support might take pity on you. If it is the third, congratulations you’re the first in history.

There are weird corner cases in theory, but I doubt any of them are operating here.
