Which 7* Cosmic champ would you rank?

Trying to decide which Cosmic champ to R2, with an eye towards a potential R3 depending on which class rank up gem I get from my Necro completion.

I was hoping I was going to dup my Venom today, in which case I probably would have taken him up. Now I’m torn between Gamora and Venom. Have an awakened 6* relic on Venom in case it matters. Very slightly leaning Gamora since she is awakened and is underrated, however I did have a lot of fun Venom on 8.3.

Also pulled Gorr today, so he is in the running also, but not sure I want to make the investment without him being awakened.

What do you all think?

Pretty close between Venom and Gamora. I’ll admit a couple of months ago I would have done Gorr first, but have changed my pov since then.

@IvarTheBoneless what do you think? I know you have been a big Venom fan in the past, but with Gamora awakened and Venom not, would you make a different call?

I would not. But for that I only have 1 main argument and that is battlegrounds dual champs. I love a dual use champ more than a pure attacker, and venom's animations can be tricky + at r3 he has a big healthpool. If they don't have a counter it can be difficult. If they have a counter he's easy but it can come in handy sometimes.

Also because you have a 6 star venom relic I would choose venom too. The relic help him a lot and I'd suggest 4/5 or 5/5 deep wounds too.

That said my gamora is still at r1 solely because in scenarios where I want to bring her in one way or another I'm prevented from heavy'ing easily. However r3 could just ignore that since normal hits will be huge if you hover around 6-10 furies. Haven't seen r3 gameplay so I'm not a super reliable source. In my opinion her dupe isn't super necessary but a cool bonus, while on venom his dupe just makes him even better.

I could keep rambling on and on about the 2 champs but I think it just comes down to your personal preference. I chose venom cause I love the character honestly.

Yeah he does seem to be surging. I will say the dual champ argument from Ivar combined with having the 6* relic duped is swaying me. Admittedly he isn’t the best defender, but I’m guessing he could get some wins on that side vs Gamora.

I have not regretted it for a second. This dude is a monster, granted he’s duped. However, if BGs is at all important to you, he’s quick.

Venom, easy. He is an absolute monster and shreds through content even as an ascended R5 5*.

@IvarTheBoneless analysis is spot on. I haven’t pulled any cosmic 7* better than my L40 Gamora and L20 Venom, but if I had to R2/3 one of them, it’s likely Venom for the reasons he listed. Also, very nice not ever having to worry about spiders again.

My Venom relic is on Venom as well and it is very effective.
