War season rewards

Was there any communication regarding updating war season rewards?
Current rewards are just simply not at all appealing unless you are in master tier maybe....
Last major war season rewards update was more than an year ago and I still remember being pretty excited about it (Got 6* Herc from the nexus the first time they gave 6* nexus for finishing gold 3+)

So the difference between being rank 101 and rank 700 is 1500 7-star shards, 30% t6b/t3a, and 20% t6cc?
