Perfect release not functioning

Hey, is anyone else having any issues with Kate and Hawkeye not allowing you to go into slowdown to execute your perfect shot? I've done it many times and it's not anything to do with my execution. I'm curious if others are dealing with this issue? I use a note 20 ultra, and so does my son. His works fine, mine won't enter slowmo after 1st hit of special
