It’s not too late to SAVE the Banquet

I’ve never seen such a bad reception to arguably the BIGGEST event of the year!

I’m not sure wether it’s to hit the unit hoarders, and the store deals will be epic, or because the gap has just become so distorted since July 4th and how insane those deals were.

But honestly I would be suprised if an emergency meeting wouldn’t have been held to see if any changes can be implemented before the event starts.

Just wondering what everyone thinks.

Yeah, sure, money will be made, but I would put it more than 80% are unhappy with it.

All I know is I am looking forward to the Road to the Crypt rewards than the banquet rewards.

It is too late for kabam to make changes, but hopefully they listen to the suggestion of having some extra milestones be progression gated next year so at least the top progression people can get something good from the milestones.

I've gone over the list of Items in the Crystals, and the Milestones, a few times now. I don't know what the expectation was that people had, but I can say the reactions are exaggerated. They have a range of payouts in them. It's never going to be the highest payout alone, because the game doesn't operate like that. Honestly, I'm struggling to see what else people wanted to see from it.

there needs to be more T6CC for sure, the current amount is pathetic.

most were expecting a 7* 1-2 for the top milestones which would be pretty reasonable

and ultimately yeah the crystals have some good rewards in them but everyone knows the drop rates on the really good stuff (7* crystals, T6CC etc) will be really low.

the inclusion of T2A to the GBCs is kind of a slap in the face, we already have WAY too much of that and it wouldn’t surprise people if it has a 20% drop rate (T5B to an extent but not as much)

Paragon crystals, why? 99% of players won’t get a 7* from these (thats what we’ve been told)

also 250k minimum gold seems low given that it’s a 300 unit crystal, modern state of the game more is needed.

do i understand that kabam can’t just make super OP crystals and let super low level players get a bunch of 7* or 6* R5 materials? yes. do i think this means that the milestones had to be lacking? no.

also the rank rewards don’t even get me started. they’re good for the top 100 maybe (even then for the amount people spend they’re probably low) but for everyone else it’s just a massive let down (especially when considering the investment people are making into this event to push on rank rewards)

end of the day i think kabam are going to come away from this sore. wouldn’t be surprised if november makes them more revenue as both necropolis and cyber weekend dropped

I’m not spending 1000s of units on 5/6* stuff. If you’re a Cav or TB, this event is great.

For Paragon+ its really bad…

What are you talking about? The community has never received any rewards for major events well. Every event the gap gets bigger or someone gets slapped in the face.

It’s amazing these kinds of comments are made without any mention of the sheer number units it will take to acquire these 6 stars in relation to where they already exist in the game.

They aren’t handing out 6 stars …. They are your reward for throwing thousands upon thousand of units away.

I can assure you many Valiant/Paragon+ players have the majority if not all 6* available, and have shift their focus to 7*s acquisition/ranking.
So they have nearly all the 6*s want or need.
I have only a 5mil roster and I ain’t after no 6*, neither I’m using rank up materials (t3a, t6bc and t6cc) on them apart from gems and ascension.

Certainly not gonna throw thousands of units for a chance of getting the couple of 6*s I’m missing through nexuses.
It’s not even guaranteed, but even if it was it would be still very expensive.
Progression tiered rewards (selectors) is one way solution for next Banquet.
For this as it seems it’s late.
I’ll spend the minimum to get my Guillotine piece, look forward for Road to Crypt rewards and call it a day 🙂

That's nothing new. I've been here for 9 years. The Event has lots of RNG swag, some Milestones, and the majority of anything large or significant comes from the highest Rankings.
It's never been an Event that people can stockpile Units and get there without spending.

That's not clickbait. It was also rhetorical. I disagree with the degree of pushback. It's one thing to say we would like to have seen more or something else added. It's another to dramatize it as a total wash. There are some useful things in the Event. Not everything is tailored to what we personally want, and I have never seen that outcome from a Gifting/Banquet Event. So the expectations are unreasonable in my opinion.

Buying stuff with units has always been part of the game. From the moment you start an account the game makes you buy a PHC.
