Since I have no say so on a mobile a game why should I spend money on it?

This is a simple question and not directed at mcoc supporters, but why should I contribute money to something I have no say so over? Do you consider this game a smart investment of time and energy since we have no say so? The game is beautifully designed and fun, but I’m just scared to invest into champs anymore personally. I feel like I have no grounds and my question to you is, “Why would you invest into a champ financially that has no value promised to it”? Pokémon cards are collectibles just like these champs are in the game, but they hold value to this day. Go ahead state your opinion…..

But to answer your question, I'm fine spending money for something I enjoy. It doesn't mean I'll go crazy and drop a ton of money because I UNDERSTAND this is just a mobile game and I don't own anything in it. I think of it as supporting the team making this game.
I pay for streaming services, because I enjoy watching the shows. But they can remove shows at any time.
If you don't feel comfortable spending money on this FREE! game, then don't. No one is making you.
You the one with very bad talking down to me
Hey wait, everyone, correct me if I'm wrong. But wasn't this the guy that was crying he was being cyberbullied to Jax and saying he was leaving the game? It can't be right. I mean I see him saying he hopes someone meets a serial killer. That can't be the same guy.
You need to step away from the forums. Seriously.
If you're looking for entertainment, I personally think the game is worth my time and money. But everyone else has to determine that for themselves.
I have spent far more money on intangibles and impermanent things than MCOC. When I buy an expensive meal at a restaurant, I get "stuff" but in no real sense do I get to keep anything. I spend thousands of dollars on first class airlines seats. I get there the exact same time as everyone else, I just get to have a more comfy seat for a few hours. I've spent a lot of money on just experiences. I get to have the experience for a while, and then it is gone.
There is absolutely no difference between spending money on any of those things and spending money on MCOC. Anyone who thinks there is is setting themselves up for disappointment. Furthermore, the game is pretty up front about this. The TOS specifies this, and this is also so common in the industry that it would be noteworthy if a game failed to follow the exact same principles. You know, or should know, what you're getting into, and if you didn't originally, you should now. If you want to spend on an experience, this game is a good one to spend on. If you are looking to invest in something, consider a low fee index mutual fund.
