Necropolis Path 2 with Kate/Shuri

Mr Fantastic Path with the trap node that hurts you if you do contact attacks in the corner

How bad is the trap node in section 1 for Kate ? Im hearing mixed things from some people saying its better to use Shuri for that first section and some saying that its doable with Kate.

My Shuri is 7r2 but unduped.

I could also try splitting the first section with Shuri taking some fights, kate taking the others. If anyones split them like this for path 2, would love to know how they did so.

The node just changes how you play Kate. You can't just spam them in the corner like you normally do, but you can hit them into the corner still with your heavy and be fine. I had Kate take Mr Fantastic on that path. I would have used her for Air Walker if I knew his kit, but ended up needing Chavez for that fight. R2 Shuri easy solos Namor, Attuma, Cap Britain, Wiccan, and Psychoman.

I personally used Shuri, because I was able to pull her in the Tech crystal for the previous path (completion).

However I still used Kate for Air-Walker and Mr. Fantastic, and it worked perfectly fine. I assume the rest is also doable with her, but Shuri is just safest maybe

Is it advisable to heal kate more than usual for this first section in case i mess up and hit in the corner ? To prevent from having to reramp etc. full health could be more forgiving.

Then again i could just avoid it altogether and use the safer option like @Eb0ny-O-M4w said

If you are going to use Kate heal her to a descent point before entering the fight.
AI is quite passive and opponents tend to draft back and spam block at their corner.
Sometimes it will be unavoidable to hit a heavy while they are at the corner to save your ramp up.

First thought that jumped to mind was I could dex back to make them move from corner but that would defeat the purpose of Kates playstyle of keeping them in the corner. Maybe i can hit into their block and dex back just once so theyre not too far away from the corner. It just seems like a punishing node compared to others, so i may end up using Shuri for most of the fights

It's possible but depending on your skills it can either go really well or really bad lol for me it was the latter so I just ended up using Zemo on that first section for the most part.

Thanks for giving insight from the other side instead of just saying that it can be done relatively easily like most

Out of curiosity, how does Aegon do for that path 2? Not sure if I should that or the Sauron path , team is r2 chavez/shuri , r6 kate, r4 juggs and fury
