Outrage Over Not Qualifying for Alliance Banquet Rewards

The alliance milestones for the banquet could have been account changing for me…however…I didn’t have time to read the forums and blindly left my alliance and joined a new one about an hour after the start of the event. Why is this a requirement? I mean…HOURS after the start. The rewards could have changed my account especially with a 6 star abyss selector being in them and GGCs to contribute more points in solo milestones. This is a bit outrageous. I submitted a ticket about my simple mistake and was told there was nothing I could do about and there was nothing KABAM can do about it. This is my petition for a lift on the requirement to 1 day after the start of the event as people might be trying to find solid alliances on the daily…thank you.

Try to have a Merry Christmas doing something else.
Its not all about you
However, surely you see that they’re not going to fix it for you. Now you know for next year.
It was like this in 2021 and 2022... You were playing the game then weren't you?
You didn't receive this in-game mail?
Maybe check back, see if you received it, but didn't read it properly...
As for you not knowing, the best thing you can do for now is know that in the future this is the rule, and just carry on. They haven’t been vague about this, it has been like this for years and let people know in advance. In any case you should view the consequences of changing an alliance at the time you do. Many people leave after an event like AW, BGs or Banquet is done as a courtesy to the alliance, and to ensure you get rewarded for doing your part. Leaving during an event like you did costs yourself rewards and the alliance you left points. You weren’t aware so just be cautious next time.
(This was said a month prior)
1) notification is live stream but understandably not everyone will watch those
2) blue banner at the top of the forums, a forum post and multiple forum post of people asking ‘if i join a alliance after 6th will i get my reward’ etc. like you said you don’t spend your time reading the forums (again fair enough)
3) email. But not everyone has that on
4) in game mail. The most simplest and literally the last way they could possibly notify you and you said they never sent but its automatic and sends to everyone which means you just chose not to read it.
There is a reason why this rule is in place and is to prevent exploitation, YOU might not want to exploit it but there will be those that do so blame them. In the end kabam has done a lot to communicate this and it has been a trend for a couple of years now. You have had adequate amount of time to learn this.
