Wong, Zemo, and Odin are other good options. Though Wong and Odin being 7*'s makes ranking up the 6* a little less desirable.

You could try zemo and copy mike’s first run. Or maybe run ascended 5* Aegon if you don’t mind a higher cost.

For instance vision aarkus, he can shut down his power gain entirely.
Similarly he can shut down captain britain and is great on odin path (reverse controls after specials)

His damage is fine if you drop a special 3 early, increasing his energy damage for your plasma attack, and then his sp1 keeps you alive for long fights if you need it. He is reverse controls immune, so you might carry him for the final stage of the boss fight anyway.

I do mind a higher cost, did a completion run with r4 Aegon, I know I have the skills to do runs with others and way less revives so I'd prefer that

No, I won't recommend ranking him up for necropolis as a 6*, there are a lot of other mystics who perform better than him.

You can, but it is almost guaranteed you'll get him in your next 7* crystal as soon as you max out your 6*, that's how kabam rng works.
