My FINAL path in Necropolis: Should've Done This Sooner!

Alright, here it is. Probably the last guide I'll put out for a while lol. After the path recap I'm gonna have some final cost numbers as well as a ranking of the hardest fights FROM MY EXPERIENCE. Lots to cover, let's get into it!
The Squad:
6* R5 ascended sig 180 aegon
7* R2 unduped shuri (got sick of using aegon in necropolis so brought her in as a backup attacker)
6* R1 heimdall (cheat death)
5* R4 proxima (aegon synergies)
6* R3 prof x (grandmaster)
The Stash:
Around 2000 units. Platinumpool and arena crystals helped a lot with this.
8 L2 and 7 L1 revives
Max stacks of L3 and L4 potions plus a small amount in stash
No free crystals (again)
30 minute boosters (again)
Masteries: same as my other paths. Nothing really changed here.
Journey to the Grandmaster (went for Sauron/Surfer path)
TRAP NODE ALERT: This one sucks. From Sauron to Psycho man the defender has a 50% chance to evade all medium attacks. This makes it hard to punish while dashing in so stay close and try to punish with lights if you can. Otherwise, wait for a parry or dash in and be ready for an immediate evade and counterattack.
Sauron was awful. Basically whenever you crit him he gets 2 prowess, and if he's unblockable crits pause it for a few seconds. Combined with the trap node and his bleed on dash attacks this makes it really difficult to ramp up aegon here. Bait sp1 to dump his prowess and also because its his only special that can be evaded when rooted. If he does go unblockable you are better off waiting it out before you attack in again. Proxima is also a life saver if you do mess up with aegon. Spent 2 revives getting Aegon to 700 combo and finished the rest with shuri. With shuri, I just spammed sp1 to get the precisions, then used the heavy to convert the shocks into crit shocks. Once those were ramped up, I used a sp2 to get all of my regular shocks, then spammed sp3 while refreshing the shocks with heavies. Make sure you do some practice runs before you start dropping items.
Hit Monkey was quite a nuisance. He basically activates both of his stances every 10 seconds, which means that he will be CONSTANTLY evading and shrugging your debuffs. Be smart and be ready with aegon and you'll get through it, true accuracy helps mitigate this a little bit. 3 revives with Aegon, got him to 999 here.
Next was America Chavez.
What an absolute piece of ****.
This fight was by far the most annoying and most aggravating fight in my necropolis runs, however the nodes themselves aren't too bad. If you knock her down twice in 12 seconds she gets her purple dimension. At 70%, activating the same dimension twice in a row removes all of your power, and at 40%, chavez starts gaining 50% of the power removed. With diligence, this can easily be managed, if it wasn't for one huge problem:
Her. Stupid. AI.
The easiest way I can put it without getting flagged by the mods is that she throws heavy attacks almost anytime she has an opening. This causes here to constantly trigger her dimensions, and once she would gain a third stack of a specific dimension, she opens a random one instead. So if you get unlucky and get the turquoise reflection dimension, you might as well just call it quits since that's not going away for a while. On top of that, she almost never throws specials when needed. So its very common to get backed against the wall and inevitably eat a sp3. I used shuri since her untouchable let me push her to sp2, but I was only able to fully ramp on a handful of tries. Be ready for a salt mine on this one. 8 revives with Shuri.
Air Walker was mercifully easier since he actually threw specials. Use aegon, keep knocking him down, and mind the evade. If he gets the galactus buff, nuke in with your furies and you can potentially salvage the run. 4 revives.
Now here's where aegon took a bit of a backseat, and shuri came out to play...
Captain Britain was ludicrously easy with shuri since you can control when she crits. No crits means no exhaustion which means no inverted controls. Bait sp1 and win. 1 revive with Shuri.
Wiccan was also a joke with shuri. I had max despair which meant that I could use the shock debuffs to prevent the sp1 regen, which made things substantially easier. 1 revive with Shuri.
Psycho man was also very easy. Watch the evade, complete the prompts, win. 1 revive with Shuri.
TRAP NODE ALERT: This one's easier but still needs some effort to manage. From surfer to nova, if you use a special attack, you won't be able to dex, miss or evade for 8 seconds. With Aegon, you can use the sp3 since the stun will allow you to completely stall out the node. For everything else, play smart with your specials and you'll be fine.
Also, first 3 fights with this trap node are not ideal for shuri, so the Aegon Show returns again!
Surfer wasn't too bad. He basically cycles dormant bleed, incinerate and shock debuffs every 8 seconds and when a buff ends on surfer he is inflicted with the corresponding debuff. If its an incinerate or shock he takes no damage and also gains more red numbers if he hits you so watch out for that. Try to bait sp1 if possible, though do be aware that he loves throwing heavies in this fight. Mind the trap node as well and you'll be good. 2 revives with Aegon.
Misty knight was okay. She constantly stays at equilibrium which means that she goes unblockable quite frequently. Would not recommend using special attacks for this one with aegon. Mind the evade and debuff purify, bait sp1 and you'll get her down. 2 revives with Aegon.
Pyramid X was a slog. She basically gets a lot of prowess and also has her other tempest practically all the time. This isn't too bad, however she glances EVERYTHING in this fight. Prepare for a long one here, bait sp1 and watch the glancing since it can prevent the unstoppable with the aegon nuke. 4 revives with Aegon.
Now back to the Shuri Show! And we got some nasty fights coming up!
Sam Wilson wasn't anything too nasty. Shuri's come back to town, so just bait sp1 and win. 1 revive with Shuri.
Dragon man was also quite easy. Mind the stun immunity and play around the trap node. 2 revives with Shuri.
Cap was a joke. Watch the skill node and you'll be good. 1 revive with Shuri.
Nova was a bit annoying since all of his specials require dexing to fully evade. Watch the trap node, bait his specials and you'll be good with shuri. 3 revives.
Grandmaster is nothing new. Pulled off another no-revive aegon/prof x tag team.
And just like that, Necropolis is 100%! Barely a month after its release!
The Final Cost:
800 units, all spent on L2 revives
All stashed revives and potions
Bunch of 30 minute attack, health and champ boosters
About 2 hours
The Rewards:
Got a 7* crystal from the chest, awakened my 7* surfer. Prestige, I guess?
Chose venom from my 7* selector. Took him straight to R3 using my cosmic gem from completion.
Pulled morbius from the titan crystal. Not bad at all.
Used the generic 2-3 gem on silk, which made me Valiant just in time for Christmas (I ran this path a few days before I posted this).
Levelled up 7* maestro, probably won't rank him up though. I don't really play a lot of bgs and alliance content is basically dead to me, so I got no reason to take him up.
Final thoughts:
1. USE SHURI. This was what the title of the post referred to, and she could've saved me quite a few revives on the other paths. Do not think you have to Aegon through everything!
2. Like I said in my previous guide, DON'T GET FRUSTRATED. Had to step away quite a few times because of Chavez, and that probably saved me a few more revives.
That's it for the path guide. Now for some more general stats regarding my Necropolis exploration!
My revive costs from each path were:
Path 1 (Titania/Guardian): 87 single and 3 team revives. However, this was a day 1 clear, so my team was not at all ideal and I had no idea what to expect on a lot of these fights. If I did this path now I could absolutely cut this down by a lot. Also, my aegon was R4 and not ascended.
Path 2 (Fantastic/Apoc): 68 single revives. Aegon was ascended for this one but still at R4. Definitely made some mistakes in not using shuri more and also not bringing a reverse control immune. Another inflated number here.
Path 3 (Odin/Stryfe): 42 single revives. From this path on Aegon was R5 and ascended, and I was also playing better. Definitely happy with this number.
Path 4 (Roblin/Elsa): 44 single revives, quite happy with this number.
Path 5 (Jubilee/Mantis): 60 single revives. Ant man future and poor mentality was responsible for around 20% of these, so you can definitely cut this down if you play smart.
Path 6 (Sauron/Surfer): 36 single revives. Shuri put in work BIG TIME.
This brings my total Necropolis exploration cost to 338 single revives and 3 team revives. Assuming all revives were 40% / L2 revives, this means that I spent around 13,820 UNITS worth of resources exploring this thing. Quite a scary number I know, however keep in mind I also used quite a few L1 revives as well, which were not counted for the unit calculation. Additionally, I did not build up a huge revive stash before each path, so with a good stash, good teams and good playing you can easily go much lower than this number of units. Of course I also used an unfathomable number of potions, boosts and free crystals so make sure you save those up as well before committing to your runs.
That's basically it for resources. Time to rank the hardest fights in the Necropolis (IN MY OPNION ONLY, you can absolutely have a different experience than I did)
Honorable mentions:
- Air Walker. If he isn't playing ball and throwing specials it can be quite easy for him to get the galactus buff. However, with diligence and a wee smidge of luck, it is doable.
- Sauron. If you are ramping up aegon, he's quite tricky to manage without getting hit. However once I used shuri the problems mostly went away. Trap node and his unblockable are still a nasty combination so get some practice in first.
- Sandman. Once he goes unstable, things can go off the rails very quickly with his unstoppable and root. Combined with a trap node he is definitely a tough one to manage even with Aegon.
And now, my top 5 hardest fights in Necropolis (once again, from MY EXPERIENCE ALONE)
5. Silver Centurion. Lock on is on almost all the time so his specials cost nothing once he gets it active. Literally a "deal as much damage as you can before he kills you" sort of fight with Aegon.
4. Stryfe. Constant untouchable and invisibility, as well as stuns if you get hit, make this one a toughie for aegon. However, you are still given opportunities to deal good damage so if you mind your spacing you can get through it eventually.
3. Knull. Taking 5% health whenever his basic attacks make contact make this fight super punishing. Add in his annoying sp1 corruption and whatever trap node he's got and you have a recipe for disaster. A fairly large revive AND potion sink.
2. Future Ant Man. Basically Pyramid X with harder specials to evade and a power detonation that interacts with the trap node to make your life awful. Definitely one to watch out for.
1. America Chavez. Just for the AI alone. Most infuriated I've been at this game in a long time. Anyone who enjoys this champion needs to see a doctor.

I'm a day or 2 away from starting my second path, and looking forward to it!
Thanks!
I’ve had no luck pulling a 7* Shuri even with three tech selectors. How doable do you think these are with either an R4 or R5 6* awakened Shuri? I hate to put resources into a 6* when a 7* is available, but I also don’t want to wait forever for her to drop for me.
So, given that, two questions:
1 - Do you think Shuri is really critical for this path? Understand she is more efficient than Aegon, but are there any fights she did for you that Aegon couldn’t brute force on this path?
2 - You answered my question above about Shuri as an R5 and with a relic, but assuming she is required on this path do you think I could get away with an R4? Again just trying to avoid ranking my 6* unless I absolutely have to.
Thanks!
2. You could probably get away with a R4 with relic, though do keep in mind it will add more revives to the counter.
If you really are dead set on that path I've seen fury work decently for namor since he has loads of bleeds.
Gonna use shuri for namor attuma cap britain and wiccan in that one specific run.
So is a r4 unascended shuri enough?
I’m reading your Odin path guide and I saw the Aegon nuke mentioned for Silver Centurion. Can you explain this a bit more, or is it the “throw a heavy weight and purposely get hit while unstoppable so you have all those furies on you” maneuver?
You can go for the heavy charge if you want to mitigate damage however I personally found the AI never really plays ball with this. Do whatever suits you though.
Or you just played around with unstoppable?
Also it's a typo, I meant played around unblockable*
