Are contest credits permanent?

I recently refunded a completely accidental purchase, I understand the need for a system to prevent people from repeatedly buying and refunding things especially because it would be so difficult to remove any Ill gotten gains. I totally get why this system exists but as someone who made a purchase accidentally it feels a little unfair to permanently lose access to my units. Especially when that means I can’t even get back half of my masteries after trying to reset them for some content. While I might not stop playing it feels super discouraging to lose access to so many things and I feel like a better system could be implemented? Idk, interested how other people feel about it, or maybe people don’t care about this at all lmao. Just thought I’d throw my voice out there.

It fair see it like that’s you go in store and buy it eat a bite of then return that’s u can’t do same kabam can’t be sure you didn’t open u could type a email and hear then but els it permanent unless u paid up

To clarify, I know that you have to buy your way back out of the negative. But I feel like any units gained while you have a negative should go towards reducing the negative. I was under the impression that that was the case intially tbh, just sucks to be in this position and be unable to do anything but pay money that I didn’t want to pay in the first place. Not super torn up about it though lmao, only a game after all.

You needed to ask Kabam support to undo it/refund you as soon as it happened and not touch anything that was part of whatever you bought (crystals/potions/etc.) until they took action.

If you refund it through the app store or your credit card then Kabam loses the money you paid but you get to keep the items which isn't fair either. You can't "buy" your way out with earned units because those are free and Kabam wants the real $ you took back from them for what you got.

It does suck when it's an accidental purchase but you have to try to undo it the proper way to avoid this situation. What really sucks is if you accidentally buy something and they say they can't undo it because you used something you bought when you still may have others of the same item they could still take back.

There's a couple of reasons existing units not count..
1. They're available for free in the game. Why would they let you buy your way out with their own currency? You refunded a purchase not through Kabam, got your money back and kept the items.
2. They technically aren't the same currency.

If you dont go through Kabam first for the refund they'll put you in the negatives. You need to run it by them first and have them approve it and then do the refund

Not exactly. Kabam can do the refund not their end AND take back the items.
