Awaken Silk or Hulkling?

I'm a casual player and have one 6* Awakening Gem, but I'm torn between Awakening Silk or Hulkling.

Who should I awaken?

I've been leaning towards Silk because my maxed/ascended/awakened 5* Silk is my favorite/best champ to play with (just behind my 5* maxed/ascended/awakened Doom).

Honestly, I'd have just picked Silk without a 2nd thought, but I keep hearing that Hulkling is one of the best champions in the game.

(Please note that I haven't played since around 2019/2020 until I picked it back up around Thanksgiving. I'm basically relearning the game mechanics and I've only just barely became Uncollected and hit level 60).

I know I'm a noob so go easy on me please!

Any help is appreciated & thanks so much in advance for any advice!

Sorry for the long post! I just think for a game with so much individual preferences and customization, context is important for any kind of understanding.

I personally would awaken Hyperion, followed by Overseer. However, first I'd try to get a 5* awakening and use it on that Hercules. And ascend him.

Herc has been my focus, I just maxed him. I'm definitely prioritizing him. Any way to get a 5* awakening through shop or quests?

The loyalty store has one, I’m not sure what progression it’s for tho. I believe that it costs 100,000 loyalty so you might want to do some more war
