They cleared 2 bgs. You cleared 1. 20k is a lot to overcome 80 points at a time.

You had less battle group clears and less diversity. The reason lies within your statement of your alliance did more of everything.

After all these posts about bad AW, along comes one which they didn’t realize they didn’t kill one of the bosses.
Or maybe thought 1 vs 2 in that category only costs them 1 point.
(Don’t you just add up 1 + 90.8 + 234 + 60 + 68 + 40 for a total ?)

Simple as that this time.

(*and, yes, if opponent leaves a boss node empty, you still get credit for a boss kill by just stepping on that node, same with full Attack Bonus 3x for numbered nodes that happened to have been left empty by opponent).
(in reply to some other posts in past who’ve complained .. “opponent is cheating by not placing boss, causing us to lose 20,000 because it's empty”)

You could have 97% exploration and no deaths, full diversity, but still lose if they cleared all 3 bosses and you giys didnt

How are you not aware that if you don't score more points than the opponent, you won't win.

obviously because of you guys only clear 1 battlegroup and of course diversity, both are important
