Is my 5 star herc enough to solo EOP?

I have him max rank accented with like 120 sig. do I need a 6 star herc? And could I use CGR? I have him 6 star rank 4 ascended

You can easily do it with 5* herc but if you use cgr and take the left side you can do the carina challenge too. I don't remember which one see for yourself. But i would recommend going with cgr for the left and herc for right.

The issue with Carina's challenges is that you need to swap out Hercules/CGR at the choice node. Hercules can't do any damage at all to Warlock unless he's paired with CapIW; so that simply isn't an option for the left path if you want it to count for Carina's.

So for any Carina's challenge on the left path, you take CGR+ two options for the challenge. Spiders works well, if you've got Miles Morales as 5/65 or 6* 2/35.

Yes cgr can be used for warlock, his sp2 inflicts armor break
