Strikers getting blocked…

So what’s the deal with strikers this update? Does the AI just autoblock them 50% of the time now??? Not the cause but happened twice in this amazing AW tactic and woulda been the difference between a solo and a death. And it’s all striker/champion combinations I’ve used this month.

I feel like the “ai fix” has only made timing issues like this and even combo into specials worse at the moment. Just extra frustrating when resource black hole tactics were force fed to us in the same month that require perfect play… and the controls and timing windows become even tighter and more imperfect.

😂 maybe… I went light into special and got parried in the same war so I doubt that helps all that much

Strikers have been having issues for some time. I’m sure the team is looking at it; however, it feels like very low priority. I expect nothing to make up for it and little to nothing in the way of updates for 2024.

Striker failing to activate and also activating unintentionally—is this being looked at under the general category of “input failures” or is there a separate effort to figure strikers out?

There’s been a problem with certain strikers whiffing for a while, but the dead input issues with strikers is incredibly detrimental playing in competitive modes like AW and BGs. Same
concerns exist for striker activating out of nowhere.

Update on a fix would be appreciated.

Dropped striker input in incursions just now as I was about to finish boss with a Herc Sp2. Instead, ate a Toad Sp3 when striker failed to activate.

@Kabam Miike could you please comment on the status of relic fixes and whether any relief is in the works? Some modes either require relic use or make failure to use them disadvantageous, and they are pretty ubiquitous in most modes as a combo extender at a minimum.

When they fail, it’s usually at significant cost to the player. And yet, I cannot find anything from the team that suggests there is progress on this front.

Moreover, the suggestion some have made that relic issues all roll into the overarching input issues that have plagued the game (to my knowledge) hasn’t been confirmed by the team. Whether these are separate and distinct issues or one and the same is something a player has no way to know.

It’s incredibly discouraging. Update please?
