With us being one week into 2024, I was curious to hear what people want to see from the contest this year. I really think that 2023 was one of the best years for the contest, and I’m hoping that 2024 will be even better
Battlegrounds:
- Love the metas and I have lots of fun playing generally. Hope they can keep the gamemode clean continuing into 2024
- Rewards buff. Seen a couple threads about this and I think that the solo milestones and store could use a buff at this point
AW & AQ:
-More fun metas for AW (pls Kabam). I’m not super high tier for AW though, so it’s never been a huge concern for me
- Raids are starting soon! Here’s hoping that they’re fun
Story:
- I’d like to see the same momentum into 8.4 and act 9. Love how fun it is, though I do think it could be a tad more difficult here and there. Not much to say here, it’s a very fun piece of content
Arena:
- Please update Sunday arenas for the love of god
Side Quests:
- Imo the worst part of the game by a landslide. It’s so unoriginal and boring at this point so I hope we get more creative SQ’s this year
Champions:
- 2023 was hands down my favorite year of champs ever. Hoping for at least one DLL champ this year + lots more amazing and creative champs like we got last year
- 7* Kate please 🥺
- Continued fair acquisition of deathless champs

-More restrictive metas, less nuke metas. I've been enjoying the current meta a lot and the last time I had this much fun was with the armor burn one. I like metas where you have to strategize even more when you build your deck and draft, you can't just sit there and be like "oh I'm a whale who spends 50k a year on the game I'm gonna grab my nukes and stomp everyone regardless of skill"
-Store definitely needs a buff, maybe too soon to have Titan shards in the store still but 7* shards should be less expensive as well as 6* sig stones, rank up mats etc.
AW and AQ:
-Not much to say here, just hoping Raids are hella fun.
Story:
-I hope they make story content harder. Not Necropolis level of course but I'm sure I speak for most people when I say some nodes just make the paths waaay too easy. Bosses are fine though, all of them have been really fun so far.
-I hope they release story content a bit more often now that they've reduced paths from 6 to 3.
Arena:
-Please give me more units since revive farming will soon be dead 💀
SQ:
-Now this is what I'm worried about the most. They need to get more creative with not only the nodes but the structure of the SQs themselves.
-They also need to work on the rewards, some of these rewards have been absolutely terrible lately, borderline useless.
Champions:
-2023 was definitely the best year for champ design imo. Other than Glad and Moonstar, I don't think we had other duds. Really hoping 2024 has the same (or better) in store for us.
-More OG Iron Man type buffs, there are many OG champs who imo deserve the same treatment.
-Ps. The Beyonder for December 2024 please lol he's the only one that can top off Onslaught.
Events:
-Cyberdeals and Fourth of July were great so I'm expecting both to be great this year as well, hopefully.
-Banquet was a massive L. Please Kabam, give us progression based crystals this year, the event would've been so much better if the GBCs simply had been progression based.
-Finally, please add the +200 stone to the loyalty store or something I have too many champs who need max sig lmao
Glad we’re on the same page when it comes to SQ. They’re so lacking in creativity, and they have mediocre rewards. This month is an especially egregious example of that. It’s like 7 fights for a small amount of shards

I would be happy with a buff in bg rewards, and gladiator buff would be much appreciated 🥲
For other content I'm fine, I'm hyped for 8.4.. maybe just less boring side quest...
