Summoner’s Choice ‘24 is very interesting… but definitely missed opportunities

The choices are definitely… Left field, and I’m all for left field but I feel like none of the characters chosen for this year are stand out. Since the theme seems to be Villains there are some huge missed opportunities. Characters like:

- Blackheart
- Vulcan
- Riot
- Daken
- Lizard
- Steel Serpent
Etc, etc

From the current picks I can 100% see Swarm getting the votes

Past years have had a problem where no-name champions didnt stand a chance against better known characters, so fans of those niche characters didnt stand a chance against the mob recognizing quicksilver, for example. If someone like lizard were in this vote, we'd have the same problem. This year, all of them are so niche and "small" that Blob is the most recognizable face, whereas in past years he wouldnt stand a chance.

I don’t think its too much of a stretch to hope the reason we’re not seeing some of the higher profile villains is because they are already in the plans for being released this year.

It’s gonna end up being Blob just cause of the recognition which still plays into “most recognised character gets picked”. Whether or not they didn’t want it to happen this time round, it’s about to happen again.

I would definitely hope so, Blackheart is top of my list and I’d love to see some more Iron Fist Characters too

How do you NOT know lizard?! Even blackheart should be a no Brainerd. The rest I can see not knowing if you don't really follow comics.
