Is anyone curious to see how a 7R3 Odin performs...?

Hi everyone,

since I have not seen many 7R3 Odins floating around, and I do believe that Odin is criminally underrated and often reduced to a pre-fight / synergy team member, I thought about starting a thread about him. Below are the clips I have recorded with him so far. Nothing too fancy but you can certainly evaluate his damage and a part of his utility, which is mostly hidden behind the True Strike of his SP1 (evade and autoblock counter). Enjoy.

That easy access to true strike is something you definitely need in a lot of matchups

I wish it was like Heimdall's and he could permanently keep it up until hit.

True, but since it's paused whilst he's near the opponent, it does hang around for quite a while.

True. He also refreshes it with his SP2 and gains it again with his SP3, giving it an almost constant uptime. Very practical way of maintaining it.

Nice showcase. I can't wait to r3 mine.
    He's such a killer!

    @BitterSteel

Did you ever r3 your Odin?

After seeing your necropolis Sauron solo with the R2 I have been waiting to see some more Odin action in necropolis!

I used him 7* r1 for my necropolis completion, he really helped me especially for guardian. I was thinking of r2 him, even if I have basically all top cosmic 6* (herc is already r5A). Glad to see how he performs at r3.
However thor relic is better for him, aside the relic himself, If I remember well relic's buff count to odin's sp2

I would be curious to see how he performs with mangog sinergy. R1 sp2 hits about 330k against abyss thing with that sinergy (thor relic) (dexterity buff active)

How fast is he in BGs? Same as venom?

I always felt like Odin was slept on. I’ve been dying to get him as a 7* with no luck.

This meta does not work for him as an attacker. When it does, his shorter rotation (heavies, sp1, sp2) is very effective in damage.

Surprisingly, although he does not have any difficult specials to dodge, he is very tanky and he can delay fights as a defender, unless the attacker has a nuke type of champion available. He has won me matches as a 7R1 defender, prior seasons.

Solid gameplay although i highly suggest giving him the thor relic, as it gives him a pretty solid boost with the extra buffs

Btw forgot to mention, Odins prefights don't work on himself.
I noticed you kept putting them on in your fights.
They also don't work on other Odin's.

I think Odin red damage is based on opponent health more the health more will be the damage

Lol, it's all good man. I mean, u wish they worked for him, or another copy of Osin even cause I have a r4 ascended and also a r2 so imagine bringing them both questing and I could use one's pre fights on the other?!! I wish! Hahaa

It's based on their base health. So whether you have them at 5% or 95% health, the massive burst damage will be the same.
