Nameless Grandmaster AI is ruined

I was desperately trying to make my necro run before the 15th and I finally got to the end, I did the first two phases no problem but phase 3 became impossible. With 30 revives in a row making this not a coincidence, the grandmaster literally cannot throw a special, he just charges me into the corner and spams heavy until he gets to Sp3 and then it’s game over EVERY TIME, this is impossible with no counter play and I feel totally robbed of any fair chance at this game.

I reset my phone and that seemed to help a lot

I'll admit, he's annoying. But there are many ways to play around phase 3 very easily like using an inverted control immune or just bursting though with aegon and ignoring prompts

Are you really blaming server side AI behaviour on your phone? 🤔

Are you using a reverse control immune ? If not, the change in how you play due to reverse controls can cause this.

Reverse controls means if you charge him, you will actually charge yourself into the left wall. I'm not sure he was charging you, you might've just been running backwards.

I had this same issue yday, GM was just refusingn to throw sp1 then refusing to throw sp2, his AI was also a lot more aggressive than usual. This also seems to have occured after the most recent update as my first 4 runs were not like this at all, so I can confirm something was updated from the teams end.

Probably related to this update
