Any tips on using Wong in the NECROPOLIS

Other than a few videos on yt, does anyone have any tips/advice on using Wong for the NECROPOLIS.
Just have path 5, and 6 left.
Not planning to use Aegon and nor have a 6* KB.

normax are the few videos that I've checked , just give an overview, but not much of actual gameplay, just small segments of fights here and there.

I used him on path-6 Odin fight.

The main thing you need to do is push Odin to sp-3 straightaway, STRAIGHTAWAY, do not let him use any other specials, after he uses sp3, Odin will permanently have 6 buffs so easy damage.
But be aware of reverse controls after Odin use specials.

What I did was after Odin used special, I charged my Wong's heavy to reach sp-2, that sp2 animation takes good time so by the time it was finished, reverse controls time was also finished. Enjoy.

Forgot to ask, can this be done for remaining defenders on the path using just Wong alone?

No lol, I used wong just for Odin.
Rest of the path was AegonGod

And forgot the main detail, do make sure you have Hemidall in team as well to tank sp3

Ok, I was hoping to go just wong alone without aegon (aka revive muncher), so I'll wait till I get a KB to finish off NECROPOLIS. Thanks again @PT_99

The first half of path is reverse control, I honestly cannot bother to deal with reverse for long fights, so just brute with Aegon.
But if you're confident with whoever is KB then good luck.

In path 5, Wong might be useful for knull, who si the revive sink in that path.

I've done 2 paths, want to complete, but didn't know that one was all reverse controls

It's not all reverse controls but whenever opponent launches a special, after the special ends, your controls are reversed for 4-5 seconds.
The good thing is, you need not to handle reverse controls during opponent specials, and none of the specials of opponent on the path is tricky, except for centurion, but you're using doom or gully for him so he won't launch specials and hence no reverse controls.

i took my 7* Wong to rank 3 yesterday. I waited for my crypto and aw season rewards to find out if Kabam was kind enough to let me pull Juggy but did not happen. So took Wong to rank 3 instead. Testing him out in AW off season and he's demolishing every opponent without boosting at all lol

Yeah I don't think I'll recommend to maintain Kate Bishop's debuffs in reverse controls, the AI is surprisingly roided as well, I finished Odin path yesterday, my god, reverse was such a nuisance even when I was using Aegon, I can't imagine the horrors you'll face by maintaining debuffs if you decide to go with Kate, good luck.

Damn, I'd recommend to just revive Aegon 3 times and get Centurion fight over asap instead of running a tedious chore with Doom/Gulli.
