will AW potions be more expensive after the change?

the current daily potion limit is 5 with escalating costs. i usually bought 1 and sometimes 2 day, but rarely anything above that, so i always got maximum or close to it value on the 7-14 potions bought weekly (average probably 9-10).

next season potions will be reset weekly instead of daily and escalating costs are going to be backloaded on everything past the 7th potion.

kabam says the overall prices is the same, but how harsh is the escalation? i get the feeling that the old way of 1-2 or even 3 a day which will work out cheaper and if someone is going to hit the 15+ range per week, they're going to meet with very aggressive costs.

can you share more information on this?

IMO, potions in loyalty store is not going to be enough for t1/t2, not even close even if they will add lvl5, I always think lvl6 is the right call.
War is going to be somehow cheaper than the last season, but still the most expensive daily game mode, that’s the reason many alliances don’t like war.

I think many alliances simply stopped buying potions and just went down the “well, let’s just try and die a bit less than the opponent with 40% revives”

Since many alliance have done this, it’s actually been alright. It’s basically a level playing field because everyone has just gone “nope, not doing that”.

The few alliances who do heal up will of course die less, and therefore win more, but at a cost of course, and fair play to them, they deserve the increased rewards for putting more resources into winning,

So yeah, been quite a chilled season this time.

You are exactly right, my alliance eventually decided to push and got master again this season, because a few top alliances gave up and it's just easier for us than other seasons.

But I don't like it, I like a reasonable and fair war. Continuing in this way will damage the game mode, I know a lot players in good alliances, they liked war but now they just revive

Yes it will cost more, weekly reset is dead giveaway, I still don't understand the reasoning of increase price the more we buy but I'm also thankful that battleground shop has consistent price.

From daily to weekly, big change and here's hoping everyone just do 40% revive strategy.

can we address this before it gets out of hand? how much will say 14 potions cost when buying 2 a day vs the 14 we have to buy in one batch when it changes to a weekly reset? this is kind of important.
