RNG rewards for Raids is so dumb and lack of care

Seriously.. getting 10 paragon crystals and got 2k titan shards vs people who got 10k or even 20 k titans shards is insane..

Completely making the hardest content as an alliance have rng rewards…

I got 10 paragons + 1.500 7* Shards + 25% T6CC and then there are people getting 20k Titan Shards.

How stupid are these rewards.
I really contemplate quitting the game. Thats how mad i am.

I wish i had your rewards. I could have gotten some iso or something. The values are way too different for a mode where everyone essentially puts in the same amount of effort. The chests should be static. Or at the very LEAST be rng but as soon as you enter the raids the chests are set to a specific reward and everyone gets that one.

Right, a lot of people don't care to use more resources/time to push and get the same rewards in alliance game modes, but they do care if they get less rewards than other players.

Welcome to the club. Really silly - yes the game has a lot of RNG but not for hard content like this it shouldn't.

Like BGs there should have been a public beta and this should have been released in stages. The CCP were the only ones who tested this, which isn't wide enough of a player base. Add to that the DOT champs (half of the pool almost especially in certain roles) especially were basically neutered come release but still in the pool, that messed up a lot of alliances.

We are at that point in our BG. The only reason to hit Ultron the past two days is to try to scrape points for the next Glory milestone—and it is a scrape.

At some level, I have to assume the team feels like the Glory bug is a fair trade for our participation in the live Beta of Raids—it certainly feels that way.

I don’t dislike the idea of Raids or even some of the things in this iteration. But the package as a whole feels very half-baked.

Specifically, charge wiping is a terrible feature; prizes are poorly balanced against boss kits; lag and input issues seem amplified in Raids versus other modes; locking champs for a week in a map that may be a dead end for days because of degen links is too onerous; some “hack” nodes don’t help nearly as much as they should; the body of viable champs is smaller than it needs to be. That’s just a handful of concrete issues I have.

All of that and more needs to be addressed before the next Beta trial of Raids. I would hope there’s some kind of concession on the part of the team, but unfortunately I expect only stubborness. I hope I am wrong.

I know the feeling. Got 25% T6CC twice and finally 3k 7* shards on the last chest.

Meanwhile another of my buddies barely put up any score on his path and got 2k Titan shards in each of the 3 chests. Bruh..

Genuine question: do people really not need T6CC to rank up their 7* champs? I understand different priorities or preferences, but I just genuinely assumed that it would be more of a "dang, I'd like that shiny new Ultron but at least this cat will be useful" instead of "how dare I get anything other than a titan crystal" (to exaggerate a point, not actually quoting).

I love the tier of rewards that they have envisioned for such a challenging quest, but the variability is a bit crazy for a game mode that has traditionally given out currency for specific prizes. Maybe they could have a "Raid Store" with similar rewards but selectable by the summoner and something they could save up for.

It's not that we dont need t6cc. It's that they can f off with 25% of one in a raid chest

Have the rewards be tiered, where you are rewarded for doing more work than the scrubs

This would remove RNG (at least some), reward better play, and you would get better rewards as you progress through the map, since your score (should) be getting higher

I 100% agree Rewards are good but WHY RNG angle? The mode is so competitive and all members have to perform at the same level, having a RNG based rewards makes no sense. This creates a disparity and someone who spent a lot did a lot gets nothing or less than the other who just won because of RNG creates a sense of disharmony. When we all are performing rewards SHOULD be equal.

well ... didn't they preview this mode to content creators who gave it their blessing ? seems like RNG rewards among other things was a clear thing to red flag

The t6 class have fallen off value wise. Its probably the worse rewards 2nd to paragon crystals smh.

I find it hard to believe that content creators played a version of raids even close to the one we have rn. Iirc when they played the entire thing was pretty barebones and boring and the bosses didnt have additional nodes and stuff applied to them. So i doubt the rng was there either. I dont think they knew, and if they did they definitely tried to do something about it

Agreed. I put up almost 40mil... guys on my side of the map, put up 4mil combined... and both got better rewards than i did. Im happy for them but at the same time, screrw it (won't be touching raids in the future).

Fair question. I currently have enough catalysts to r2 seven 7* champs, as well as my generic 2-3 gem that still needs to be used. Once those are ranked, my priority will switch back to resource gathering very quickly. But for now, it’s new champion acquisition.

It's a simple measurement, points.

Sure, it can take a while to build up some charges. But it really isn't that detrimental to performance and should be mostly balanced out by the time you work through 3 bosses.

The rewards being RNG and with such a wide gap between the “good” and “bad” rewards is so utterly demoralizing. I personally got the low amount of TSCC and 1,500 7* shards two times. It makes me not want to play the game mode anymore. With how hard it was to get to the chests, the rewards were NOT worth all that effort.
