Who to R2 (or R3)?

Thanks to the Necropolis I have TWO Generic R2 greens, and a host of 7* champs to choose from. I also have a cosmic R3 gem, prompting me to make both 7* class crystals cosmic, and got Silver Surfer and Terrax. I feel like I've got 4-5 equally good options so would appreciate some guidance, please, particularly where awakening is a big factor as I've no guarantee to awaken anyone here any time soon, let alone further increase their sig level.

Options as follows

Bishop feels like a frontrunner, but maybe between him and Sunspot? I love using Wiccan and Morbius, but their lack of awakening concerns me. As for the cosmic potential R3, Vox might be the best, but again without his awakened ability...? Am I better just to wait? I haven't even started act 8 so Valiant is a long way off.

I'd go with Bishop. He's great on defense and pretty solid on offense, has a good amount of utility, and damage is pretty easy to come buy. Sunspot, Vox and Adam aren't bad choices either, but since Bishop is the only one thats awakened, I'd go with him.

I‘d do anything for that Bishop!!!

(Except exploring Necro and pulling him from the selector, that is… 😅)

Bishop is a insanely good champ, can't go wrong with him.
I suggest you to try black cat, she's amazing for bgs and questing, Also wiccan is a great champ too.

Yeah Black Cat's my most recent pull (Loyalty 7* FTW) but I've been keen for her so eager to try her out. Wiccan is a personal favourite, but need to be careful with dedicated of those higher rank up materials

If you end up awakening that Terrax, don't sleep on him

He still give some people issues in BGs and is actually packed with utility on offense (loads of armor break, shock and bleed immune, immune to power burn against #metal champs)

I am path 3 in AW and usually do the whole thing with just Terrax (depending on defenders)

With rock field up, stack some armor breaks, throw a relic and land a heavy for pretty yellow numbers.

I took Black cat to R2, she was a monster in the VT meta last season

I had a R3 Vox unawakened and he was still very good. Sure, his sig helps him a tiny bit, but it’s not absolutely necessary for his success. Between him and Adam you definitely have 2 great options for R3.

Wiccan is a killer machine in bgs, you won't go wrong with him. Try black cat, you'll surely fall in love with her.

Oooh, I've definitely ignored Terrax so far, I was under the impression he had to be woke to be good, and then only for defence. Definitely something to think about. thanks!

Yeah an Alliance mate is gagging over Vox as well, I just couldn't quite figure out whether his sig was that important or not - I guess it's more important in long-form content to keep the Degens topped up and really benefit from them.

Who would you personally prioritise out of those two, barring a convenient awakening?
