Unawakened 7* Korg

So I’ve spent 560 units for some 7* shards with the new offer so that I could open a crystal…

Was hoping for a strong mutant.
Got Korg.
Am sad.

Any bright side?

He’s a good BG defender - will be outstanding if you can get him duped. And you have to pull him before you dup him.

Pulling Korg once might not seem like a very fun thing, but once you start pulling him more times, his defensive capabilities will start shining through. That said, even an unduped Korg can be a royal pain since he's so gosh darn tanky. Even if he doesn't shrug off debuffs and you don't take any damage from him, he still mitigates tons of damage and you only have a limited window where you can actually damage him properly. Plus, he can still go unstoppable and unblockable very easily even without a dupe.

Obviously an awakened/high sig Korg is preferable to an unduped one, but I've struggled against unduped 7* Korgs in the past. He's just a chonky, chonky boy.

Korg is not to bad on attack as well, His armor breaks are quite useful.

well , better than 20 more sigs on my sig 20 gambit

Pulled him as a 7* myself, and was happy with that…he’s a tank. But for BG I still use his little 200 sig ascended 5/65 brother, and he is a pain in da ass for a lot of players 🧨💥🔥🔥🔥

He's useless defender unduped as long as you're not hitting his block.

The 7* Korg at low sig in BGs doesnt even need a counter , whereas the 6* at max sig is far more annoying because of the parry and increased thorns damage. I’m considering r5ing my Korg over Nick Fury
