Missing Deathless pieces

Apologies if this has been answered before but I couldn't find the specific info I'm looking for. I'm one piece short getting Deathless Guillotine before it leaves the store. I know Mike said we'd have another chance later on but it will be really expensive, but does that refer to the individual pieces or the entire champ?
Does it make more sense to sell all the other pieces I already have and use the resources I get from the sale for King Groot, or should I hang on to them if I can just get that last piece by itself later on?

I could be misremembering, but I also thought the deathless pieces for guillotine would be buyable with units on Jan 31st too.

I just confirmed with the team that it should still be made available before any limited time pieces of Deathless King Groot go away, so Summoners will have the information they need to decide how hard they want to try for the King Groot pieces.

Can someone explain to me does this mean it will come out in a few days before the 2nd piece leave or come out in like 4 months before all 5 pieces leave the store at once like the 6* gully ones are about too now.

I read it as: Before any limited time King Groot piece disappears… As far as I know, there is currently only the Special Challenge piece („Complete Paragon Gauntlet with only #Mercenaries“). And that one I believe ends in 7 days from now…

So theoretically, the unit offers should drop in the next 7 days… Which makes sense, because if summoners know, how many units the catch-up pieces will cost, they can make a better decision on whether tu push for the content pieces or not…

You're setting yourself up for disappointment by even hoping the unit costs will be that low. They were very explicit in the fact that the unit price would be high. It is why they strongly encouraged anyone who wanted the deathless champs to complete the challenges.

I was assuming that anyone who would be chasing the deathless pieces would have at least claimed the free one instead of paying a ridiculous amount of units for it
