Looks like something was turned on that wasn't meant to be yet. We'll have more news on this soon, but in the meantime, you can ignore them.

I would assume maybe something like Google Play points.
(have NO direct knowledge of it, so just a guess, not a spoiler)

But that is something a few comments have complained (or asked) about since online Store was made. As in.. “Does that mean I can’t use my Google Play points ? If I purchase via new market”

So this could be an alternative to your other Google points, further encouragement to buy via the market.

Or maybe towards other “special” items/offers ?
