So in 2024, who do we think is the better BGs champ? Kingpin or Nick

Who would you rather have in your deck assuming both max rank sig 200? Last year, the majority voted KP but curious to see if he is still predominantly picked over Nick with how the game has evolved

Kingpin the better dual threat if they are bleed immune fury useless plus he’s already pretty slow on attack without second life while kingpin fast on attack plus he can stall on defense if ai passive since you don’t want him using sp2

KP is leagues better than Nick for BGs.

Kingpin is probably a better attacker especially for bleed immune matchups that Nick can’t handle, but Nick is the better defender, especially at a very high sig.

I can already see KP winning the poll but almost all high tier BGs players I’ve talked to that I know said they would prefer Nick and even ascended him over KP because of the 2 lives and the stalling/chip damage. Personally I ascended and used my generic r5 gem on KP

We can all agree KP is miles better on attack and Fury is easily better on defense.

As we continue to get and rank more 7*’s one thing I wonder is:

Who will lose value quicker as we reach the end of the year?KP on attack or Nick on defense

Kingpin is a great staller as well (I'm embarassed to lose with a sunspot lol)

As someone who plays at top tier bgs, nick fury is 100% better than kingpin. At the top u can get away with not having kingpin even in a skill class based meta, but a nick fury is basically required for defence for pretty much every meta.

And nick on attack is quite underrated, being one of the best bullseye counters and can be decently fast with max deep wounds

Both can be sacked by mutants, but KP is pretty easy to beat when he's cornered. NF is annoying when he spams his Sp 1 until he's unblockable.

I mean kingpin hits hard but fury hits way harder. Then defense kingpin is probably harder to fight but fury will take longer and is better for BGs

kingpin at sig 1 in BG might be slightly worse than NF duped. But at sig 200....now that's a different story

Bleed is probably the most common debuff in the game. DW is worth it.

@phillgreen definitely but id rather run max limber/syg/md and inequity as they benefit more than just bleeders. But anyways, i think i can run 3 in DW once we get the necropolis mastery point. Would have to remove my point in resonate as well

Fury takes more time to beat, and if you don’t get the flow right, you’re in for a hard time.

Yeah, Domino is my favorite NF counter 2, because my R4 AA always gets a ban 🥲
