Arena help request not functioning as expected

So when I request help for champs I've used in arena, this seems to behave as normal. Then when I come back to the arena a few minutes later, all the champs I've requested help for appear to be available for requesting help again (i.e. the request for help does not seem to be processing). I've checked in my help requests in the alliance tab, and the affected champions do not appear there.

IOS 11, iPhone X.
