You only took out 52 defenders. How many doubled up on paths for you? Did you do all 3 of the lead ins to the boss Islands? If not, use those revives and take out more nodes.

No one doubled up on paths. We don't do mandatory wars. We just go for 3 boss kills. Not worried about wins and losses or placement. Just seems dumb that a team can revive 200 times

Then you should be able to live with the consequences of going in short handed. You had 23 people and only got 52 attacker kills, that’s why you lost. How about everyone at the very least clear a lane, then you would have won.

You focused on the wrong aspect of AW. Boss kill is important but so is exploration. You bet on 23 people can do more than 29 and you lost. Either go down to 2 BGs or get 7 more committed members to do AW.
Sure it looked bad from your point of view but I think they showed commitment to persevere to explore more than your alliance. That’s a good win from their POV.

You're in a larger alliance facing a smaller alliance complaining about losing when you don't take wars seriously. You're just going to have to accept that not getting exploration will be a guaranteed loss when you're facing an alliance that is filled with determination.

Based on your ally sales pitch previously, why would this be an issue? (Might be worth keeping in mind deaths beyond the first 3 count against the defenders AB bonus. If the attackers only b-lined and died multiple times on say 3 champs…the death count becomes very misleading)

There is exploration for a reason.

This is why we stopped doing war altogether. The 6 of us relied on strong defenders to roadblock the opponent since its difficult to explore with so few.
