Bahamet’s radiation blast

I’m playing against Bahamet for the first time but I can’t see his radiation blasts when he launches them - they’re invisible. Is this correct and part of the skill requirement to complete 8.2 even though on many content creators’ guides it shows it? Any help welcome.
