Let's talk about the Champion of the Universe

So the Champion, MCOC's only playable Elder of the Universe, released alongside one of the best (long form) champs of 2018, AEgon. He has a cool kit consisting of ramping Persistent charges to gain buffs (like True Accuracy, Fury, Unstoppable) and do damage. He also ramps up faster when going up against a group called Contest's greatest fighters (which includes Starky, Blade, Star Lord, Hyperion, Corvus, Iceman, etc). However, with a synergy with Titania, this extends to all champs in mcoc.

But despite this not too many players decide to rank him up for regular content (with the exception of Swedeah), but why? How would you change this Champion? How would you improve him?

Change? Improve? Why? Even you said it - Sweadah - shows amazing gameplay with him. Like most champs you just have to know how to use him.

1. Make his special attacks and intercepts (both light and medium) not consume his furies. He always keeps going down to sub 3 which hurts his damage, he never remains at his true damage state for long.
2. Give him buff removal immunity. His belt has to be useful for something.
3. Poison resistance, ala Karnak would be nice for him, a bit of willpower healing.
4. His sp1 literally does nothing. Make it do something. Like, pause his furies for 10 seconds or something, refresh his current buffs.

He's got decent utility, true strike, armor breaks, furies for buff needing nodes, some very light regeneration (could use a boosted change of higher %).
A up tune would be better than a overhaul for him.

Nah - that sounds way overpowered. Any champion with that in their kit would just be an open invitation for some summoners to revive-spam through difficult quest content. It would probably be the most desirable champion in the game to acquire for that reason, divide the community into haves and have nots and certainly never see the light of day as a 7* champion...

The Champion update
1. Increase his persistent charges from 5 to 8.
2. Update the greatest fighters list. Preferably with the same cadence as something else like the Featured 6 star crystal to give us a timer and something to look forward to.
3. Don't need a three. The first two are plenty, but if they want to get nuts, add his Luke Cage synergy to his kit at 8 furies.

His best stuff is locked behind barriers like intercepting, specific matchups, and boss fights. Most people aren't going to bring him, Luke Cage, and Titania in just to stunt on a boss. It makes for a good YouTube video, but isn't practical.

It's incredibly light offensively, but strong defensively.
His specials should not eat his charges, bad design.

It's incredibly light offensively, but strong defensively.

His regen is absolutely not light on offense. On final boss nodes he's near unkillable if you can play him well
