Does Werewolfs ability ruin him on offense

I think Werewolf is extremely good , but one of the things that make him so good in my opinion is the ability to fight opponents without hitting them , just by getting power gain and hitting into block . I dont have his awakened ability but i was wondering if his unblockable buff ruins that aspect of him . Obviously its great for defense tho , and a counter for some annoying defenders …
