There is no mens day. There's a women's day because there's a history of them being treated as lesser beings.

If the world worked the way it's supposed to, we wouldn't need special holidays like Black History month, Pride Month, etc.. because we would have been treating each other with mutual respect and as equals. Slavery wouldn't have existed, homophobia wouldn't exist, sexism (like what this comment is) wouldn't exist and so on.

So instead, we call attention to their accomplishments through special holidays.

No op is saying men aren't oppressed, so men don't need a day for celebration.

Woman's day exist not to simple celebrate the accomplishment of women. It exists because women are oppressed for centuries and even now, so they need a day to celebrate and express their stories. Men aren't oppressed in most societies, so we don't need one.

But there is a day that exists as international men's day but I'm damn sure those alpha men podcasters and others who always bash woman's day, don't even know when men's day is celebrated and what's it's history. Lol.
