IPhone X gameplay

Extremely frustrated with the gameplay since upgrading to iPhone X. Left thumb placement is akward and I have to stretch my thumb to activate a combo. And not always with success. The screen is also smaller. This causes me to lose fluidity in play and get locked mid-combo. I’m womdering what the likelihood would be that this would get resolved before map 5:4 gets released next week. I can’t continue to risk underperforming in AQ and AW
