These would be new champs, I have Little to no experience with either of these , so who's better as a 6*?

    Valk,
wolf was flavour of month just because of BG meta.

He's still one of the best Maestro counters in the entire game, no idea where you got this "flavor of mouth" idea lol.

Both are very good champs that are quite different.
Overall I consider them pretty equal, and at the upper top of their respective classes.
If you are keen/like of hit the block play style, go with Valkyrie.
If you want a fun to play modern mystic champ, that can also catch players off guard on defense, go with Werewolf.
Ultimately go with who you like playing more 🙂

Valk still one of the best attackers in bgs being far more versatile than him and shredding war paths and other content

I'm gonna have to go with Valkyrie here due to versatility.

However, the Wolf is one of the best maestro counters and wrecks as well.

An argument can be made for either option.
Valk prefers max sig and isn't available as a 7*, though.

She can't take Maestro though, and in BGs that is a problem. Which defenders can Valk take that have very few counters? Not a single one, all the defenders Valk was made for can get clapped by other skill champs that already exist in the game.

As for the far more versatile comment, you can use Werewolf the same way you use Valk, hitting into block only. All his damaging effects trigger through block and he gains power passively, he can handle the same lanes Valk handles in AW which are usually the hazard shift ones. The only thing Valk has that he doesn't is unstoppable counter and purify which fair enough but WBN on the other hand is better at dealing with buffs, he can delete problematic cosmics with loads of buffs quicker than Valk can, their kits are different.

My problem with the doggo in bgs is he slower then most options. You mentioned maestro and that fight is not quick with him, unlike other options like Chavez and CGR where he absolutely gets nuked.

On the other hand Valk is in fact a powerful attacker if you know how to play her well. I’ve taken a r3 hulk in 36 seconds with her. Not something you can replicate with the doggo in a meta that isn’t tailored to his kit.

I’d love to see wolf drop korg in 30 seconds or thing or photon or killmonger she drops fight faster than wolf who only fast in buff heavy match ups and playing him the same way as valk makes him garbage just cause he can doesn’t mean it’s good it’s no competition she’s better than him and one fight doesn’t make her better than him especially when she’s better than him in more match ups than just class advantage ones

That is true but you gotta keep in mind, time doesn't matter as much as it used to, health does and Werewolf can do Maestro with full bar if you play it right. Also, depends how many buffs they have, WBN can be very fast when there are loads of buffs like with Hulkling Galan Ikaris etc.
Against Maestro it is a 60-70 second fight unfortunately because of the glancing but I feel like that's still decent enough if you don't have the champs you mentioned or Kate or Kushala and so for that reason alone he is more valuable than Valk to me at least. Also WBN can counter champs from other classes with no problems, I've done FAM and Red Skull with him, 60-70 second fights too unfortunately but with minimal health loss which is very good, time doesn't matter as much as it used to.

I'm not denying Valk is really good (I ban her when I see a r5) I just don't see a reason to add her to my deck cause I got all the defenders she counters covered already whereas Maestro I only have three (including WBN). I also don't see a reason to use her over WBN in AW since like I said he can take hazard shift lanes with zero issues even though he is slower, he has regen which means more survivability.

WBN can drop other defenders in 30 secs too, I don't really think that's a valid argument here because it really depends on the defender. I will admit though Valk can take more matchups that is 100% true, but WBN can handle the most problematic defender in the game and in BGs, that alone makes him a lot more important than Valk imo. Korg, Thing, Killmonger etc they all have plenty of counters nowadays so it's not like you're screwed without Valk, whereas with Maestro well there's like five or six in total and if you don't have any of them it's an instant loss no matter what you do.

"Him playing the same way as Valk makes him garbage" so is Valk garbage? You need to get all that anger out of your system and think before you type pal that last paragraph is confusing as hell. Anyways, what I was saying is one of your arguments was "Valk has more versatility and she can shred paths in war", outside of the niche unstoppable matchups like Thing and Korg, WBN can shred the same paths in AW as Valk and he has far more survivability than her.

Let's just agree to disagree and let op decide lol people have voted, it's up to him now.

    @ItsClobberinTime I have 7* Kushala , should I still take 6* WBN?

Hmmmm depends how many Maestro counters you have in total. If you only have Kushala yes I would personally take WBN.
Also, Valk kinda needs sig 200 for the extra utility, WBN is fine unawakened or sig 1 if anything.
