How does the 2h timer work in Showcase

I went into Showcase with a team and got absolutely demolished by the time I reached Red Skull. As it stands, I have 90 minutes to go before the timer runs out.

What does that mean, exactly? Can I exit out, grab a new team and go in again, and get a new 2h timer? Or am I locked into this quest now and have to explore it within the remaining 90 minutes despite having a team that's not up to snuff?

I'm confused.

    You can restart anytime it'll just reset the timer to 2hrs. Already tried it out and it works.

    Excellent! Thank you. I got really worried that I absolutely had to complete it within 2 ours with the team I'd chosen. Given how the first few fights have gone with those guys, that would have been expensive, haha.

    Welcome to the world of tier 1 war. Now you understand why people are so cranky about needing health potions and boosts galore up there.
    I got smuggled pretty bad so had to use Hercules. Wasn’t meant to stil he to use revis but was fun to try silky

    Didn’t I see somewhere that there is a health penalty you pay if you quit out and restart? Like their health goes up or something?

    I think it’s just that if you force quit you will come back in with 50% health.
