Raids… it’s so bad… it’s still bad

3rd time around the charm? Nah. This drivel is [not to my liking] with timers that are too short, really small champ selection and die now [mechanic]. The rewards are decent I guess but also RNG drivel. I think we are just all tired of being ignored at this point though so we soldier on… but every time this comes around it just makes me shake my head in disappointment.

Dang dude, I assume you haven’t yet found an attacker / buff combo that suits you, because when you do, these post-nerf raids are amazingly easy

Same. It’s practically a week’s vacation from map 8… but, like, a paid vacation (albeit some of the pay is RNG).

Raids are so easy now that I keep wondering if Kabam actually meant to nerf them quite so hard

With the current bug that gives all roles 1 charge every other fight, then you can do all the bosses with just 2 people. I was quite happy getting to use Sersi to decimate all the bosses today and got to ultron within a couple hours from just using the free raid revives I had from last raid.

Huh, I was unaware of that. So for instance, me and my other officer, we're Assault and VG... we're on second mini now. He went, then I went. Our third guy is on a night work schedule. Me and the other can keep just going back and forth with no repercussion?

All you need is at least 1 charge of your own role to take a swing at the boss and do big damage. If you're using a top-meta option that can do the 12% in 3 minutes without everyone having 10+ charges, then you can continue just fine.

It’s not the difficulty… it’s just a poorly executed game mode where you basically just use the same 2-4 champs because there really isn’t that many good options in each role. And I just find 2 die now mechanics(timer/damage cap) to be a drag. It’s not hard just ill conceived.

RNG chests still here… just yuck.

No. But we set a time when we are all available and set aside an hour or so and just so the first 3 bosses. We have a -5,-8, and I think a +3 timezone. So much easier imo then going once waiting, and waiting some more.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear on my initial post because of my dissatisfaction with the design. It’s not hard, it’s just not fun either. By the time the “fun” happens I’m either kicked out due to a timer or damage cap which I get penalized for in instadeath. In no game I’ve ever played has this been an element, why? Maybe, one or the other… but both? Nah. Because it feels cheap and petty.

Then to add to this the mode feels crazy restrictive with who I should use, which is a limit pool of champs that don’t all equally work, so it already feels beyond repetitive. Even on the first iteration my complaints have never been tied to the difficulty of the fights but the whole concept here.

And this is an alliance mode, where unless I retire completely I’m put in a position where if I want to continue to play the game with the people I like I’m stuck doing it.

The only reasons know of people engaging with it are the rewards which will be out of date before they get an update to make it worth it and the break from the constant slog of boring that is AQ.

I usually go for the 2.5k AQ revive after that since you can hit the damage cap pretty quickly at 15 role charges.

I'll happily take a Raid week over an AQ cycle. Chests pulls were forgetful but that's RNG for you. Now I have a few days before revives reset to focus on other stuff. That's a W in my book.

My only complaint is still he RNG rewards... just really sucks to get nothing buy T6c shards when you watch others pull 15k 7 star shards and 2k titan shards

That’s kinda what I’m saying. This poor design gets a free pass because more people are just happy to not have to do AQ not because this is fun or well designed.

I’m having a blast with raids. My friends and I cleared our lane yesterday with no trouble and I get to see my champs hit like a truck. Lots of free revives and a relaxing week afterwards

I 10000000% agree.

I did the last raids (didn't do this round, don't feel like buying the tickets currently) and they nerfed it right into the ground, imo.

I get making it easier, but it's a complete joke now.

Don't finish combos when he's got a bar of power, hold block after the 3rd light and take the block damage until he throws a heavy, repeat until he's at sp2

Learn how to comfortably dex his Sp1; either practice duels with Maestro or Act 4 will help. The AI is too unreliable to throw enough heavies, and the degeneration from blocking Sp1 is too much not know how to handle when he throws Sp1

It might be easy but its too RNG based, ive gotten t6cc from all 3 chests for the 3rd time in a row now. Can we just remove the RNG aspect of it and find a middle ground for the rewards? Like 2k titan in one, 50% t6cc in another etc

If anything Raids has been overtuned to make it maybe to easy to get through now (please don’t change it back).

RNG chests are still an aspect of the mode I hate, outside of that I love Raids. Wish we had it every week instead of AQ.

I don’t really think you can say the community have been ignored on this. We’ve been pretty listened to other than the RNG. That might change at some point in future. Think positively dude.
