So you can’t push Photon into her Pure Light Form any more

Honestly what is this BS. Photon dashes back and double blocks so her Pure Light Form timer never stays on. Only way I can reset her light is by hitting her till she get enough power and take unavoidable damage. Between her and Venom AI they made showcase a terrible experience! Massive shame because I enjoyed the other fights

Yep this has been a bug for a little while now. I did however see in Abdo’s stream that when mantis would apply her intimidate, photon would dash back and manually trigger light form like she should. Might be worth taking into consideration.

Because less furies and kess block damage by pushing her to light form ahead of time?

The AI drops block for a frame and then reaplies it. Probably does it a lot during the fight. This way the AI can also reparry duble medium champs, or if you're really slow with your combo.

The point is bait a special then manually force her into pure light while she has no bars of power. Then you can dance around a little bit and wait out light form before attacking and giving her power. The earlier she triggers light form the less you have to wait, hence why people try to manually switch her.
