Lost Frames

Picking up on a new topic today…lost frames, also known as screen freeze.

Previously, this was a rare occurrence for me. Of late, however, I’m encountering it more frequently, mainly in BGs and occasionally AW. For example, a recent BGs fight found my attacker going from tapping an opponent’s block to being comboed several steps back across the screen—without any intervening frames between the two events.

I’ve asked myself: Did I have a micro stroke? Was I caught up in a super-brief Rapture? Was it simply the world’s shortest incident of narcolepsy?

None of these things seem likely. Most of my equipment appears to be in good working order. So I’m left wondering what precisely causes lost frames and what, if anything, I can do to fix the issue.

Happens to me sometimes, most of the time it continues where it left of after the freeze, but rarely I get comboed. Finding freezes are more frequent now

There's nothing you can do Zola, Kabam just don't really seem to care about our problems right now. People report lag and freezing yet Kabam don't bother to respond. Alliances don't get matched some wars, and there's a placement bug where players can't even join AW in time, which Kabam took like a month to even acknowledge, and don't bother even stopping the season. On top of that, the game is full of other bugs like the double medium getting parried not to mention BGs is just miserable facing countless 7 star bullseyes, onslaught, dust, serpent etc and there's tons of input issues there too, not to mention AI problems where it's far too passive and baiting out specials can be a nightmare.

Frame skipping, jittering and teleporting instead of dashing is running in game from quite few times now.

Just today I knocked down Doom in BG with Kate with sp1 arrow, that bozo got up and used sp1 even before my Kate recovered from her animation, like that Doom legit just skipped the animation of getting up, wish I was recording.

Bg is the only place my screens been lagging but it’s more often than I’d like

One thing I’ve noticed in the last month or so is the game stuttering at the start of a fight.

Makes it near impossible to land that first parry

The game has become too competitive for Kabam to manage. These things would not have been such a huge issue if game modes like BGs weren’t a thing, I personally had a laggy fight against Dust two days ago, I attempted to parry twice and both times it did not register. I know how to parry and I’m in Mysterium, so I can tell when it isn’t my fault…
