Found this promo code section on the webstore. Showed up a few days ago. Hoping Kabam can give us more info on this? Support knew nothing about it and pointed me here to the forums.

    So now they are adding “Promo Codes”, in addition to Market Points, to the online store ?

    So much for the standard “MCOC does NOT have Promo Codes” response up here whenever someone new to the game comes on and asks about some Codes that had been “promised” by fake/scam sites.

    This is really exciting. Could be an actual game changer if it's implemented well and I hope it is. I've said for a while it would be cool as well if Kabam could do partnerships with other companies too like spend x with them and get a 10% of your next mcoc purchase or vice versa.

    Will it be like, "do objectives in games, to revel the secret code"
    Or purchase only codes.

    my guess would be the codes are given for content creators as some form of promotions, and if we use it, we get a discount from buying and creators will get a small commission from it ? I know some games using that

    This is a perfectly good opportunity to put out codes that are only active while the twitch stream is live to incentivize viewership. (Edit: I don't mean this should be the exclusive use for promo codes... just one of many possible ways to utilize it.)

    Now maybe you won’t have to give out champ’s manually after a livestream. You can just give out codes.
