Is Summoned Symbiote my Forever Friend?

I remember the first Summoned Symbiote event where he disappeared at the end of the event.

Wondering if he is permanent this time, and if I buy catalysts to rank him up, whether he will remain ranked up.

    Yes. He’s permanent. He was after the second event involving him.
