War error

The last wars I’ve gotten an error message saying you can’t use champs on others teams and I finally figured it out that you guys @kabam put basically a lock on people using 7 stars as attackers because every time I try to bring a 7 star in for attack it will not let me and I get the error message so please fix this or just give everyone better rewards

    This is my second war attack this has happened. WTH is going on with this? All the champs are cleared from any other quest

    It's your defense. You are trying to use a champ that is stuck in this weird defender limbo. I set up new Champs after they changed the diversity points so I took kingpin out. Tried to use him in attack but it wouldn't let me. My alliance leader asked me to swap out my korg (but I already had)... Or so I thought! It was still showing up as my selected team although the champs in war were different! I had to pull out my defenders altogether and start over.

    I have the same problem and none of the are on defense in any of the 3 maps

    There is some unknown question as to whether (if your ally advanced a Tier), whether you still have champs from what used to be in the “-1” Tier map, which is now basically in a “-2” Tier Defense Map, whether those champs are still locked internally.

    Even though you would have no way to go back into 2 tiers below and remove them yourself.

    Or similarly, if what used to be “Current tier”, but then your Ally has actually advances a whole 2 tiers higher. Your old “Current” would now be “-2”, which is no longer visible to swap champs out of.

    *haven't seen a clear answer to this up here, whether the champs actually get removed by Kabam automatically as they drop off of your available 3-Map choices.
    Or whether they continue to exist on that old defense tier, internally in the game data. ??

    That’s what happened! I took the one champ out that was on that lower tier and as our alliance advanced, we raised a higher tier and it was/still locked in, hence the -2.
